Anhui Medical University holds fun games to celebrate Women’s Day

On the afternoon of March 30, 2018, carnival fun games of Anhui Medical University was held on the playground of its Meishan Campus which is one of the serial activities organized to celebrate the International Women’s Day in 2018. Li Jun,Secretary of CPC Party Committee of Anhui Medical University, attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the games.

With the theme of “love work, love life, love health”, the fun games received warm responses from the female faculty and staff members. Lin Tao,chairman of the Labor Union, expressed his greetings on behalf of the Union before the games started.

With the official start of the competition, collective and individual projects such as Tank Battles, Large Circle Runs, Sumo Ring, Happy Big Feet, Safe Parkour, eating oranges blindfolded and aerobic dance were successively launched. To enliven the atmosphere, male staff were especially encouraged to attend the competitions and service work. With the cheering louder and louder and the athlete’s morale higher and higher,our female faculty members were full of vitality and each team displayed its team spirit and cohesion to the full. The atmosphere was harmonious and cheerful.

After fierce competition, the first, second and third prizes were awarded to the collective and individual competitions respectively. The winning team and team members also harvested exquisite holiday gifts.

In recent years, the female faculty and staff of AHMU have made outstanding contributions to the development of the university’s teaching, scientific research and management through unity, cooperation and great achievements. Through these fun games, the university has created a good atmosphere of enriching thestaff’s amateur and cultural life, carrying forward the spirit of collective collaboration, and promoting the progress of women’scareer. It encourages the faculty and staff to dedicate to their own workactively and make new contributions in the process of building a high-level medical university.

Heads of relevant departments and units attended the opening ceremony. Huang Zhaohui, deputy director of the Women’s AffairsOffice, presided at the opening ceremony and read the relevant competition regulations.
