On November 27, 2019, “Translational Medicine Summit Forum: National High-level Research Seminar for Material Science and Life Medicine Talents” jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, Hefei Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and AHMU was held at Anhui Medical University. Liu Wenqing, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, researcher and director of the Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to make the opening report entitled “Atmospheric Environment and Human Health”. Ren Yuzan, deputy director of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, attended the forum, and Wang Kai, vice president of AHMU, presided over the forum.
“Material Science and Life Medicine Talents Training” is an advanced training program (2019) of the professional and technical knowledge updating project established by the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security according to the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. This program closely follows the trend of the times and reflects the current research hotspots in translational medicine, important scientific issues, and the intersection and integration of multidisciplinary fields.
