Students Win the First Prize in the National Clinical Skills Competition

From November 28 to 29, 2019, the Annual Clinical Skills Competition (Ophthalmology) of Graduate School Alliance of Medical Universities was held in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Our university team won the first prize in the competition with its strong professional and theoretical knowledge, good clinical skills and composedly steady impromptu performance.

The competition included preliminary and final parts. In the preliminary round, students were given a computer-based online test on basic theoretical and practical knowledge of common and frequently-occurring diseases, standardized diagnosis, treatment and clinical thinking, and only 10 university teams could proceed to the final. AHMU team made up of four graduate students in ophthalmology, Xia Lin, Wang Guangxin, Ding Jie, and An Qi, scored second in the online test, defeated strong rivals and made it to the final successfully. And Ding Jie even got the highest personal score among all competitors nationwide.
