In mid-October, 2021, the 6th Regional Physiology Quiz in China in Collaboration with IMSPQ ( Inter - Medical School Physiology Quiz), organized by the Organizing Committee of the IMSPQ, Jiangsu Physiological Society and Xuzhou Medical University, has come to a successful end. Our university team has won many awards. Among them, Li Jiaqi won the personal first prize. Yang Shengbo and Shan Mengqin won the personal second prizes. The team won the second prize of the group, and also won 3 outstanding instructor awards.
Considering the current situation and requirements of epidemic prevention and control, the competition was held online for the first time, with a written test and an oral test, which put forward new requirements on the response ability of the participants and the venue environment. After the screening test of physiological knowledge in our university at the beginning of the year, 9 students were selected to form the team. In the competition, the students displayed teamwork spirit and maintained their composure. In the end, Li Jiaqi won the personal first prize with his vast knowledge reserve and fast response speed. Yang Shengbo and Shan Mengqin won the personal second prizes. Our university team ranked fourth in the oral examination and received the second prize.
