On August 26, 2018, the local time, the fourth batch of undergraduate students from Anhui Medical University School of Pharmacy arrived at Northeastern Ohio Medical University successfully and began their one-year-long exchange study.

The students started their study and life in America with great enthusiasm after a brief rest. It is reported that within the next two semesters they will have trainings covering several modules like clinical drugs treatment,self-management of non-prescriptiondrugs, and probe into the similarities and differences between Chinese and American clinical pharmacy systems by practically participating in the working environment of local pharmacists. The aim of the program is to broaden the international perspective of our undergraduate students majoring in pharmacy and clinical pharmacy, promote the exchange between Chinese and American talents in clinical pharmacy. Greater contributions will be made to the development of pharmacy and clinical pharmacy in China with acquired advanced experience in teaching and training.
The six students received warm welcome from Professor Richard Kasmer, the Vice President of Northeastern Ohio Medical University. With the full accompaniment and assistance from Jodie Dillner, teacher of School of Pharmacy, the students have completed their admission procedures, and with the help from the two leading teachers, they have got accustomed to the classroom study within one week and conducted friendly interactions with the local students. It is believed that the students will become more and more confident and self-reliant in the future study and life, with full manifestations of their talents in the international exchange activities.
