The first editorial panel meeting on the monograph Toxoplasma and Toxoplasmosis, chiefly compiled by Prof. Shen Jilong from Anhui provincial key laboratory of pathogeny biology in our university, was held in Xingzhi Building on the afternoon of August 9, 2019. Vice President Yu Yongqiang attended the meeting and gave a speech.
At the meeting, Prof. Shen Jilong, editor-in-chief of the monograph, reported in detail on the background, the outline and the personnel allocation of the preparation of Toxoplasma and Toxoplasmosis. Wang Di, Director of the People’s Medical Publishing House explained the compiling cautions to the members of the editorial panel who meticulously discussed in depth the directory outline, the contents, the problems and the precautions in the compiling process.
It is reported that Toxoplasma and Toxoplasmosis is chiefly co-edited by Prof. Shen Jilong from our university and Prof. Lun Zhaorong from Sun Yat-sen University, with the participation of experts from more than 20 universities and research institutes nationwide, including Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. The book is expected to be published by the People’s Medical Publishing House at the end of 2020.
