Arkansas State University and AHMU Launch a Cooperative EducationalProject on Health Service and Management

On the morning of October 27, 2021, the launching ceremony of the Sino -foreign cooperative educational project of undergraduate education in health service and management was held in the conference room on the first floor of Zhixing Building. Vice President Liang Chaozhao attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.Kelly Damphousse, President of Arkansas State University and Head of Department of Health Research of the university delivered video speeches. John Pate, director of the China Office of Arkansas State University, attended the launching ceremony.

It is reported that this undergraduate educational project of health service and management jointly carried out by Anhui Medical University and Arkansas State University is the first Sino-foreign cooperative educational project of medical universities in Anhui Province. The University attaches great importance to the formulation of management measures, the establishment of an official management working group, and a university-department-school linked management mechanism to guarantee the quality of the project.
At the meeting, the heads of the Academic Affairs Office, the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, School of Health Management and the freshmen representatives made speeches respectively. Tao Fangbiao, Dean of School of Health Management of AHMU and John Pate unveiled the project.
Before the ceremony, the University held the first video conference of the Sino-foreign Joint Management Committee on Health Service and Management of Sino-foreign Cooperative EducationalProject. Some members of the joint management committee of both universities attended the meeting and had a warm exchange on the operation of the project and further cooperation between the two universities. After the meeting, John Pate gave a special lecture to the students who participated in the project and answered questions raised by them.
