A delegation from China Scholarship Council(CSC) visited AHMU in the afternoon on April 10, 2018. Accompanied by Mr. Xie Ping, vice director of Anhui Provincial Department of Education, the general secretary of CSC secretariat Mr. Zhang Ning and his colleagues Mr. Dong Zhixue from American Affairs Department and Mr. Yuan Jun from Planning and Development Department came to investigate the oversea students program at AHMU. Prof. Cao Yunxia, president of AHMU chaired a meeting for the host and the guests to have a well-informed discussion.
Prof. Cao introduced to the delegation the general condition of Anhui Medical University, and the international cooperation and communication of AHMU with foreign institutions in recent years. AHMU has paid close attention to international programs and targeted at developing medical talents with global vision. There are special funds allocated for both the exchange program of students and research and study program of staff. Prof. Cao was delighted to report to the delegation the achievements AHMU has made in internationalized quality education, and at the mean time welcomed advice and support from CSC experts.
In the meeting Mr. Zhang Ning approved the success of government-sponsored oversea study program at AHMU. He also provided practical advices to administrators and deans of departments at AHMU by introducing the current CSC sponsored oversea students programs and analyzing the 2018 national policy for studying abroad.
