Some of the achievements of the curriculum construction of AHMU were chosen and put online to help training on epidemic prevention and control in colleges and universities in Anhui province.

This series of courses aim at carrying out the spirit of President Xi’s important speeches and instructions, implementing the spirit of the video conference of epidemic prevention and control of the national education system, giving proper psychological counseling to teachers and students during the epidemic period, and correctly publicizing the knowledge of epidemic prevention. The training is divided into three modules --- “Psychological Response”, “Knowledge of Epidemic Prevention and Control” and “Courses of Epidemic Prevention and Control”.

Confronted with COVID-19, scholars from AHMU worked with dedication and put the priority on the life, safety and health of the public. Under the guidance of the university and the departments, Professor Huang Fen (School of Public Health) and Professor Zhu Chunyan (Department of Medical Psychology) created such courses as COVID-19 Prevention and Control--- Guarding Health and Series of Lectures on Psychological Adjustment of Epidemic Prevention for College Students, and put them online into the training module of “Psychological Response”.Several other provincial level or higher level prime online courses made by AHMU are already available on ehuixue, including Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology and Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Respiratory Diseases and Basic Skills Operation, which have been put in relevant training modules. These two courses have had a wide range of audience and have laid a good foundation for curriculum construction, providing the public with basic skills of disease prevention and control, as well as professional knowledge of adverse drug reaction monitoring.
