From April 13 to 15, 2018, the ninth International Students’ Cultural Tour of Anhui Province with the theme of“Hui mountain, Hui water, and Hui culture”was held in Wuhu and Tongling. Nearly forty outstanding international students and leading teachers of AHMU participated in this event.
Over the course of event, the international students visited the mysterious ancient town of Jiuzi in Wuhu, the beautiful siteFlower Sea and Stone Forestin Ya Mountain, and the wood pressing workshop that carriesthe traditionalmethods of oil extraction in ancient China. They experienced the Chinese painting art in YingangYichuang Town and felt the beauty of Chinese landscape scenerywhenclimbing MaRen grotesque peak. Wherever they went, international students were all amazed and admired. They all expressed that they not only appreciated the beauty of theAnhui style, but also felt the spirit of the Anhui charm and were greatly impressed by the uncanny workmanship of nature and the profoundness of Chinese traditional culture.
This event was organized by Anhui International Education and Management Society, aiming to promote the Chinese traditional culture through cultural tour and on-site experience. It is believed to provide opportunity for international students to get to know Anhui province from multiple perspectives and love it consequently. The activity advertised studying in Anhui province, broadened the horizon of international students and promoted the exchanges among international students from various universities. A total of 160 students from 41 universities across the province attended the event.
