On the morning of December 4, the delegation of the British Care Fertility led by Professor Simon Fishel, a renowned British reproductive expert and participant in the birth of the world's first test-tube baby, visited the university. President Cao Yunxia welcomed the delegation cordially and accompanied the members of the delegation to visit the Reproductive Medicine Center in the High-tech Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of our university, and discussed the establishment of a cooperative relationship.
During the meeting, Cao Yunxia introduced the development achievements, the latest technology and the deficiencies of the Reproductive Medicine Center of the university's First Affiliated Hospital in the past 20 years. She hoped to cooperate with world-class reproductive medicine centers in scientific research and other fields, and looked forward to more in-depth exchanges between the two sides.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the birth of the world's first test-tube baby, and British reproductive medicine technology has been leading the world. Professor Fishel's visit mainly focuses on how to benefit more Chinese people with the latest technology. Fishel said he was willing to make efforts for the development of reproductive medicine. Britain now has the world's first-class training center for reproductive medicine talents and a complete talent training program. The two sides can cooperate in many fields such as personnel exchanges, scientific research and teaching in reproductive medicine centers.
