In order to carry out online classes efficiently during the COVID-19 pandemic and guarantee the teaching quality, the university plans to allocate 2 million yuan for the second batch of high-quality teaching projects —— 100 open courses online.
The online “High-quality Courses” will concentrate on core curriculums and integrate education of ideology, innovation and entrepreneurship into the teaching, creating the online educational platform of our university. The project mainly includes appropriate usage of the modern information technology in order to actively promote the development and application of MOOC, opening new approaches of “Intelligence +Education”, constructing virtual-simulation experimental teaching programs, and focusing on innovation and social-practice course.
It is said that if the course is evaluated “excellent”, the university will award the host and provide additional funds to support the courses continuously. Meanwhile, the excellent course will be preferentially recommended for provincial or national high-quality online courses ( MOOC included).
