Recently, Anhui Periodical Association has issued the awarding list for the provincial outstanding journals, excellent journals and featured columns between 2017 and 2018. Six journals edited and published by our university have been awarded the titles, among which Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin and Chinese Journal of Disease Control and Prevention are awarded the “outstanding journals”, and The Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui, Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology, Journal of Clinical Pulmonary Medicine and Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy are honored as “excellent journals”.
The awarding list contains a total of 8 outstanding journals, 33 excellent journals and 3 featured columns. Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin is included in Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), A Guide to the Core Journals of China, Scopus, Index of Copurnicus, CNKI, CQVIP and Wanfang Data. The Chinese Journal of Disease Control and Prevention is included in CSCD, A Guide to the Core Journals of China, CA, Ulrichsweb, the Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM), CNKI, CQVIP and Wanfang Data. The Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology is included in CSCD, A Guide to the Core Journals of China, Chemical Abstracts (CA), WPRIM, CNKI, CQVIP and Wanfang Data. The Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui is included in A Guide to the Core Journals of China, CA, Index of Copurnicus, Global Health Database, Scifinder, CNKI, CQVIP and Wanfang Data. Journal of Clinical Pulmonary Medicine is recognized as China’s core science and technology journal by Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and it is also included in CNKI, Wanfang Data and CQVIP. Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy is rated as RCCSE China’s core academic journal in A report on Chinese Academic Journals Evaluation (Wuhan University Edition), and it is included in CA, WPRIM, CNKI and Wanfang Data.
It is reported that there are 12 medical academic journals in total which are in the charge of, sponsored, edited and published by our university, including 3 which are included in CSCD and 4 included in A Guide to the Core Journals of China. Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin, The Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui and Chinese Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology have won the titles of “China’s Top 100 Newspapers and Periodicals”, “Outstanding Scientific and Technological Periodicals of China’s Universities”, “100 Outstanding Academic Journals of China” and “China’s Outstanding Scientific and Technological Periodicals”.
In recent years, all the staff of the editorial department of the university’s publishing center have kept their initial aspiration and mission in mind and always committed to meeting the needs of authors and readers. They have played an active role in pursuing better service for authors and readers through various means such as the network, mail, telephone, express delivery, etc. The publishing center will make persistent efforts to improve its professional level and play a leading role in disseminating advanced culture and scientific knowledge.
