In the morning of December 31, 2020, the signing ceremony of the Anqing First People’s Hospital affiliated to Anhui Medical University was held in Anqing. Secretary of AHMU CPC Committee Gu Jiashan and Anqing Municipal CPC Committee Secretary Wei Xiaoming attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the nameplate of Anqing First People’s Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University.
On behalf of AHMU, the president Cao Yunxia congratulated the official signing and unveiling of the affiliated Anqing First People’s Hospital, and expressed gratitude to the leaders of Anqing City who cared about and supported the construction and development of Anhui Medical University and committed to promoting AHMU-Anqing cooperation. She briefly introduced the AHMU development process, and expounded on the future layout of promoting AHMU-Anqing cooperation and co-building of the affiliated Anqing First People’s Hospital.
Chen Bingbing, Deputy Secretary of the Anqing Municipal CPC Committee and Mayor, delivered a speech on behalf of the Anqing Municipal CPC Committee and Government. He said that the Anqing Municipal CPC Committee and Government attached great importance to the cooperation and common development with Anhui Medical University. It is hoped that with the input and support of the advantageous resources of Anhui Medical University, the two parties can work together to build a first-class tertiary hospital in the province, accelerate the establishment of a regional medical center in Southwest Anhui, and cultivate more and better medical technology forces to promote the healthy development of health services.
Liu Qunying announced the “Approval for Approving Anqing First People’s Hospital to Become an Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University”. Yu Yongqiang and Guo Jiaman signed the “Agreement between Anqing People’s Government and Anhui Medical University to Jointly Establish Anqing First People’s Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University”.
Wang Yu, Dean of the First People’s Hospital of Anqing City, made a speech on the development of the hospital and its main work measures after the hospital was approved as an affiliated hospital of Anhui Medical University.
