Recently, Anhui Science and Technology Agency announced the fourth batch of Anhui International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases. “Anhui Joint International Research Center of Basic Medicine” declared by AHMU is approved to construct. This center is the second approved Anhui International Science and Technology Cooperation Base after “Anhui Joint International Research Centre of Nursing”.
Anhui Joint International Research Center of Basic Medicine relies on the construction of School of Basic Medical Sciences and focuses on national and regional strategic needs and the major scientific problems in the field of basic medicine. With the joint research center as its cooperation carrier and the agreement of co-construction as its institutional safeguards, Anhui Joint International Research Center of Basic Medicine strives to achieve major breakthroughs in the field of neurology, oncology and major infectious diseases through deep cooperation with the scientific institutions of world-class universities.
Considering the overall construction layout of Anhui International Science and Technology Cooperation Base, Anhui Science and Technology Agency finally identified 25 units as the fourth batch of Anhui International Science and Technology Cooperation Bases, which are divided into three types: joint international research center, international technology transfer center and exemplary international science and technology cooperation bases.
The approval of the research center’s construction helps AHMU to integrate international scientific and intellectual resources, thus actively promoting and enhancing the breadth and depth of international science and technology cooperation.
