Recently, the 2021 China Undergraduate Physics Experiment Competition (CUPEC), initiated by the physics discipline group of National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education, the Association for China Undergraduates’ Experimental Physics Teaching, and the Physics Teaching Committee of the Chinese Physics Society and hosted by Nanchang University, came to an end. School of Biomedical Engineering of our university formed a team for the first time and won one national second prize and one third prize respectively, filling the gap in this event.
The event attracted more than 1600 teams from more than 480 colleges and universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China and other top universities in China. It is reported that the event is a national class A event aiming to stimulate undergraduates’ interest and potential in learning college physics and physics experiment courses, and to cultivate students’ innovative spirit and learning potential.
