On December 26, 2021，under the guidance of the Anhui Province Higher Medical Education Cooperation Committee, AHMU held the finals of the 2021 Anhui Province Higher Medical Education Cooperation Committee College Students’ Basic Medical Experiment Skills Competition in Lixing Building. Vice President Xiao Shenglong attended the opening ceremony and announced the opening of the competition. Thirty-four teams of 136 contestants and 30 team leaders from 5 undergraduate colleges and 5 vocational colleges in Anhui Province participated in the opening ceremony.
This competition has two parts: the preliminary competition and the final competition. The preliminary competition is for each participating unit to conduct a virtual simulation experiment assessment in their respective colleges, which mainly involves knowledge of anatomy, pathology, embryogenesis, pathogenic organisms, laboratory safety and animal ethics. The content of the final is as follows: virtual simulation experiment (animal experiment and ESP), tissue section and microbial staining and observation, offline functional experiment operation competition. Contestants’ performance of the virtual simulation experiment is automatically evaluated by the examination system, and the experimental operation is reviewed by experts from third-party colleges and universities including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing Medical University, and Central South University. The three parts make up the final result.
After fierce competition, Team 4 of Anhui Medical University, Team 2 of Anhui University of Science and Technology, Team 1 of Clinical College of Anhui Medical University, Team 1 of Anhui Medical University, Team 1 of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Team 1 of Wannan Medical College won the first prize of the undergraduate group respectively. Team 2 of Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Team 3 of Wanxi Health Vocational College, Team 1 of Wanxi Health Vocational College, and Team 3 of Hefei Vocational and Technical College won the first prize of the vocational group respectively.
