A signing ceremony between Anhui Medical University (AHMU) and Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IMDC), along with the Unveiling Ceremony of AHMU-IMDC China-Pakistan Cross-cultural Educational Exchange Center” was held in AHMU on the afternoon of January 7, 2022. President of AHMU, Professor Cao Yunxia, Vice President of AHMU, Professor Liang Chaozhao, the Second Secretary of Embassy of Pakistan in China, Muhammad Junaid and Dean of the International Department of IMDC, Ahmed Waqas attended the ceremony. Chairman of IMDC Akbar Khan Niazi, Managing Director Yasir Niazi and Dean Professor Syed Shoaib Hussain Shah attended online and made speeches.
At the meeting, the two medical institutes signed the cooperation agreement online, and held the unveiling ceremony of the “AHMU-IMDC China-Pakistan Cross-cultural Educational Exchange Center” at their respective meeting sites.
Islamabad Medical and Dental College, located in Islamabad, Pakistan, was established in the year 2007, with Clinical Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing majors as its dominant disciplines. After the ceremony, Muhammad Junaid, Ahmed Waqas and their delegation visited the Experimental Teaching Center of AHMU.
