Nine Provincial Gold Awards! AHMU Achieves Good Results at the 8th Anhui College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

On August 9, 2022, the results of the 8th Anhui College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the final of China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were announced. AHMU’s projects won 9 gold awards in Anhui Province, among which 7 were recommended to enter the national competition, ranking among the top in Anhui province. 

Projects that won gold awards and have been recommended to enter the national competition are: “Infinite vision — The New Plan for Domestic Surgical Field Teaching Profession in the Cloud Computing Era” from School of Health Administration; “Nano ET— The Novel T Cells Coating Nanotechnology Treats the Malignant Hematologic Tumor” and “The Contribution of the Chinese Herbaceous Peony, Whose Planting Industry Promotes the Rural Revitalization” from Institute of Clinical Pharmacology; “For Protecting Your ‘Stomach’ — The Testing Kit for the Helicobacter Pylori Type Testing and the Early Gastric Carcinoma” and “As Long as One Cares about One’s Lung — The Early Screening System for the ADI Lung Cancer” from First Clinical Medical College; ‘‘‘Twinkling and Enlightening Stars’ — Courses in Children Sex Education in the Countryside” from the First Affiliated Hospital of AHMU; “Serverless Technology Enabling Exploration of Industry Software” (product-orientated proposition track) from School of Biomedical Engineering. It is the first time for AHMU to participate and enter the national competition in product-orientated proposition track.

The total number of AHMU’s projects reached 1235 and the number of participants reached 7259, including 1124 projects for undergraduate and graduate students in higher education main track and covering all categories of new engineering, new liberal arts, new medical science and new agriculture. In order to prepare for this competition, under the guidance of school leaders,  School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, on the basis of summarizing the previous competition experiences, planned and deployed the work in advance, carried out various forms of guidance for the competition, organized pre-competition training, roadshow simulation, online observation and other counselling methods and carried out a number of online and offline training and guidance, thus laying the foundation for the excellent results of this competition.

It is reported that China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, co-sponsored by Ministry of Education, relevant ministries and local provincial governments, is an important carrier and platform to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in China, and has become the largest coverage and the most influential event of innovation and entrepreneurship for Chinese college students.
