On the morning of March 27, 2023, the first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base for International Students at AHMU was unveiled in Anlong Gene Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Wu Qiang, Dean of the School of International Education, Ms. Huang Yan, Deputy Dean, as well as faculty member and international student representatives of the School attended the event, and were greeted by Mr. Wei Yujun, chairman and general manager of Anlong Gene Technology Co., Ltd.

Mr. Wu Qiang said that innovation and entrepreneurship is an important component of the education in national condition for the international students, and the School attaches great importance to it. The establishment of the practice base provides a good platform for international students to have hands-on experience in innovation, research and entrepreneurship, and a window to Chinese culture and innovative achievements in China today.

After the ceremony, the group also visited the clinical testing laboratory, R&D center and exhibition area of Anlong Gene; learned about the general situation of the company, its testing services, early tumor screening technology and other technologies; and see with their own eyes the rapid development of China’s pharmaceutical and medical testing enterprises.

The establishment of this base will deepen international students’ understanding of China’s national conditions while enriching their learning opportunity and scientific research, contributing to the development of international students, opening-up of Chinese higher education, and the quality and efficiency of overseas study in China.
