The Editorial Meeting for Clinical Pharmacotherapeutics of the Third-batch Planned Textbooks for Clinical Pharmacy Major Has Been Held at AHMU

Recently, the editorial meeting for the textbook Clinical Pharmacotherapeutics, which is selected for the third-batch planned textbooks for the clinical pharmacy major under the National Health Commission’s “14th Five-Year Plan,” was held at our university. Our university is the chief editorial institution of this textbook, Vice President LYU Xiongwen attending the meeting and delivering a speech. Professor Li Jun, the leading editor of the textbook, conveyed to the attending editorial board the essence of the editorial directors’ meeting for the third-batch planned textbooks for the clinical pharmacy major of national higher education institutions (National Health Commission’s “14th Five-Year Plan” designated textbooks).

On behalf of the chief editorial institution, LYU Xiongwen warmly welcomed the editorial staff and board members from the People’s Medical Publishing House who attended the meeting and briefly introduced our university. He stated that Anhui Medical University attaches great importance to the management and development of textbooks, improves their systematic and digital management, and strictly controls their selection and use, so as to continuously enhance the scientific and standardized level of textbooks, and actively implement the mechanism of textbook planning, compilation, evaluation, selection, and utilization.

Professor Yao Wenbing, Director of the Third Editorial Review Committee for the textbooks for the clinical pharmacy major of national higher education institutions and concurrently Professor at China Pharmaceutical University, provided guidance and suggestions for the compilation of the textbook. Cao Jinhua, Director of the Pharmacy Center at People’s Medical Publishing House, introduced the developmental process of the third-batch planned textbooks for clinical pharmacy majors, and put forward specific requirements for the content and format of the textbook. Zhou Mi, the publisher’s editor provided a detailed explanation of the principles and specific requirements for textbook compilation.
